Institute of Contemporary Music Performance alumni Loick Essien released his single ‘Love Drunk’ from his debut album with Sony Music on 12th September. A scholarship winner on the Institute’s vocal Higher Diploma, Loick firmly made his mark while studying, participating in showcases and gigs and gaining industry attention, before signing with Sony Music.
Loick worked on the single with producer of the moment, Labrinth, who has hit the scene with credits on Tinie Tempah’s #1 hit ‘Pass Out’. Loick’s vocals have also appeared alongside Chipmunk’s on ‘Beast’ and most recently provided the choral hook for Bashy’s ‘When The Sky Falls’, the theme for upcoming gritty UK flick ‘Shank’. The single ‘Love Drunk’ is out now with his debut album to be released later this year.
