There’s only three days to go before The 2010 Manson’s Guitar Show opens its doors at the Riverside Leisure Centre, Exeter.
The coolest guitar show of the year can now announce its final line-up of artists with two packed days of performances, workshops, master classes and demonstrations including appearance by the legendary Led Zeppelin Bassist John Paul Jones, Martin Barre of Jethro Tull and Walter Trout
Just announced to the line-up are top blues guitarist Bernie Marsden, best known for his time with Whitesnake, who has subsequently released many solo albums and is currently touring with ‘a celebration of Rory Gallagher’s music’. Also confirmed and new to the line-up is guitarist Laurence Archer who played in Phil Lynott’s band Grand Slam and acoustic guitar maestro Rodney Branigan.
The organisers are proud to announce several companies are launching their products at the show. These include Line 6 debuting their next generation of Variax® modeling guitars and their new flagship guitar DT50 amplifier range, which have a boutique-style tube design and uses revolutionary new HD amp modeling technology.
Source Distribution will be debuting their Jet City range of all-tube guitar amps designed by the legendary Mike Soldano. Their eagerly awaited PicoValve compact tube head will be at the show, a compact, low-wattage tone machine featuring dual 12AX7s shaping the preamp voicing, and a single 6L6 in the power section.
